Code of Business Conduct
The standards of behavior we expect from everyone who works at Risely.
Last reviewed: July 2026
Our Code of Business Conduct sets out what we expect from everyone who works at Risely, both in how they treat their colleagues and in how they conduct our business. This page summarizes those expectations.
Our approach
Risely promotes freedom of expression and open communication, and we are committed to creating and maintaining a professional, respectful, and collaborative work environment where diversity and inclusion matter. We expect everyone to avoid offending others, to steer clear of serious disputes, and to help keep our workplace well organized and respectful.
Who this applies to
This code applies to all Risely staff members, including full-time and part-time employees and contractors, regardless of the employment agreement or level of seniority.
How we expect people to behave
- Be welcoming, friendly, and patient.
- Be considerate. Others rely on your work, and you rely on theirs, so consider how your decisions affect users and colleagues.
- Be respectful. Disagreement is no excuse for poor behavior. A workplace where people feel uncomfortable or threatened is not productive.
- Be careful with your words. Sexist, racist, and other exclusionary jokes can offend the people around you. Be kind to others, and behave professionally.
Harassment and exclusionary behavior have no place at Risely. Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- violent threats or language directed at another person;
- discriminatory jokes and language, or posting sexually explicit or violent material;
- posting, or threatening to post, other people’s personal information (“doxing”);
- personal insults, especially those using racist or sexist terms;
- unwelcome sexual attention;
- advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors; and
- repeated harassment of others. In general, if someone asks you to stop, then stop.
When people disagree, we expect them to work to understand why and to resolve their differences constructively, remembering that different people bring different perspectives and that everyone makes mistakes.
Integrity in business
- We treat all people and organizations we deal with impartially. Unsolicited gifts or entertainment may be accepted only if they do not go beyond common courtesy and carry no risk of influencing a business decision.
- Everyone, including senior management, must disclose personal relationships, business transactions, and related parties that could harm the organization while benefiting them.
- No one may offer, give, receive, or solicit anything of value to influence an official act by a public official, agent, or government employee.
- We prohibit bribing foreign officials and making unauthorized facilitation payments.
Reporting concerns
If you experience or notice unacceptable behavior, we expect it to be reported to a reporting manager or to anyone up the reporting structure, including the CEO. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone for reporting a concern in good faith or for taking part in an investigation.
