Merlin designs a structured week-by-week program: topics, coaching session agendas, reflection prompts, and take-home exercises. You review it, edit if needed, and start it immediately or schedule it.
What happens during a coaching session?
Each week, the employee gets a personalized email with that week's topic. They have a coaching conversation with Merlin (text or voice, in 40 languages) focused on that week's skill area. Merlin asks questions, explores real situations from their work, and helps them practice. After each session, they get feedback on their engagement, reflection depth, and action plan quality.
How does the week-by-week progression work?
Each week builds on the last. Week 1 might focus on identifying what to delegate. Week 2 on setting expectations. Week 3 on trusting without micromanaging. What data does HR see from coaching plans?
For assigned coaching plans: session summaries, engagement levels (frequency and consistency of interaction), and skill assessment scores (before and after). HR does not see the content of coaching conversations. For self-driven coaching (the default), the organization sees no data at all. Conversations are fully private.
Can we use our own learning content?
Yes. Organizations can bring their own frameworks, playbooks, and learning materials. Merlin weaves them into coaching conversations and nudges. Your people hear your language and your models, not just Risely's.
Is there a minimum team size?
No minimum for the team plan ($399/month for 5 users). Enterprise pricing starts at larger deployments and is based on volume. Individual plans are available for single users at $59/month.
